Regional Marketing Programs Manager, Asia Pacific

We are looking for an individual who is an experienced B2B marketing professional preferably in the technology space having worked in APAC regional or global roles.

As the Regional Marketing Programs Manager, Equinix - Asia Pacific, you will be focused on demand generation and customer value creation. You will need to be a facilitator, collaborator and a unifier for the marketing team in developing and executing an integrated go to market strategy framework with emphasis on delivery. A thorough understanding of the customer pain points and challenges, buying behavior, industry opportunities and trends that will help map the buyer journey and their key drivers is critical to delivering successfully on the role.  The role requires you to work closely with local, regional and global marketing functions (PR, AR, Digital marketing and Field marketing) as well as the sales teams to create and deliver holistic and integrated marketing programs.

Program Development and Execution

  • Own the successful end to end execution of the key programs including project scoping, defining project elements, budgeting, overall execution and delivery, measurement and reporting.
  • Understand the key global, regional and local country business priorities and ensure they are reflected in the integrated program design and deliverables.
  • Implement best practices approach to campaign development and execution - both from an internal organisation perspective as well as keeping in mind industry benchmarks.
  • Understand the Equinix product portfolio and roadmap and work closely with the product marketing teams around key market launches and message integration into key programs. This will involve follow a project management methodology.
  • Adaption of key programs for adoption by channel partners and development of 'Programs in a Box for Partners' kit.
  • Develop and execute nurture programs to accelerate lead velocity and improve conversion metrics with compelling and impactful content and value delivery.
  • Penetrate the existing customer base to expand business opportunities via cross-sell and upsell campaigns based on segmentation, analytics and business insights.
  • Adapt, adopt and help build relevant program content across the buyer journey in multiple formats that can be leveraged across various marketing engines and platforms.
  • Be an evangelist for the Equinix value proposition ensuring education and enablement of internal marketing and sales teams, channel partners and external industry forums.
  • Accountability for tangible and measurable results - clear goal setting and adherence to KPIs. 

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • This role requires someone who is a true diplomat: an active and patient listener who can reason and influence with empathy and strong understanding of facts.    
  • A well-rounded B2B marketer familiar with the full spectrum of the marketing functions:  Online marketing, email campaign execution, paid syndication and promotion, programmatic campaigns, social media marketing, database management, events, PR/AR, etc.
  • Experience in building end-to-end integrated marketing programs, creating relevant content, and developing marketing campaigns for awareness, demand and lead generation.
  • Hands on experience with common marketing and sales platforms - Marketo, Salesforce, etc.
  • Creative thinker and a fast learner who is looking to constantly improve on program performance and delivery mechanisms by adapting and adopting new ideas from the best in the industry. 
  • Understanding of the Asia Pacific market especially in context to the technology space
  • Flexible and open to travel - 10% travel on the job required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related fields
  • 7+ years' experience in a regional role
  • B2B marketing experience preferably in the technology space
  • Experience in creating and executing regional B2B programs including a good understanding of the market nuances especially across Australia, China, HK, India, Japan, Korea, and Singapore
  • Solid experience or understanding in developing Demand Gen program for Tele sales is preferred
  • Proven track record of marrying analytics-based strategy to practical, results-driven execution
  • High motivation level and appetite for fast-paced team environment; readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.
