Description: 

Our Client is a reputable and well-established commodities trading firm, with a global footprint and a strong regional presence in the Asian markets. Due to increasing business needs, they are currently recruiting for a Pricing Analyst to join their middle office team.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fundamental and technical analysis on the assigned range of commodities
  • Work closely with the traders to execute trades, ensuring execution at the best prices and margins possible
  • Perform hedging on the firm's and customers' risk exposures from physical transactions
  • Perform daily reporting of trade positions and trade reconciliation
  • Ensure positions and margins are within the firm's trade limits
  • Provide pricing confirmations and statements of accounts for both customers and suppliers

 

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Economics/Banking/Finance, or any relevant discipline
  • At least 1 year of analytical experience in commodities/trading environment (candidates with relevant internship experience from commodities firm may apply)
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make quick and sound trading decisions
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
