The Assistant Events Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of events for clients (internal & external) with effective implementations.

He/she is expected to work closely alongside internal departments and external vendors to execute events efficiently.



  • Understand event concept, objectives & deliverables in order to develop a compelling event proposition
  • Manage workflow process of events planning such as scheduling, budgeting and sourcing of venues and vendors as required
  • Ensure all events are in compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Work in tandem with sales to ascertain targets and ensure sponsor agreements are fulfilled as per contract.
  • Work with and provide event information to audience marketing and communications teams for the development & execution of promotion plans
  • Work with internal pertinent departments to manage all associated services
  • Management of business partners/suppliers to support the event goals & deliverables
  • Present on-site to provide support, & ensure operational efficiencies



  • 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in events management or operations.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Business Development, project management, events management or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated initiative, and willingness to assume greater responsibility.
  • Willingness to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Analytical abilities and quantitative/qualitative skills.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
