Act as a trusted partner to the Asia Pacific Region commercial and functional teams in business planning, decision making, development and implementation of strategies and initiatives. Support Asia Pacific FP&A Director in driving continuous improvement in processes and tools, FP&A capability, and the acceleration of Finance 2020 Transformation.
Business Partnering & Business Decision Support:
Partner with the Regional Franchise & Country teams in driving performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives. Provide highly relevant analytics and insight to support decision making process including identifying risks and opportunities and recommending solutions. Act as a key stakeholder in driving forward initiatives critical to delivery of strategic imperatives and ensuring alignment in focus, priorities in resource allocation decisions. Take leadership to optimize cross-functional process and collaboration to maximize impact on business, customers and teams.
Strategic and Annual Planning:
Take ownership of Strategic Plan and Operating Plan processes within the designated Franchises and areas. Ensure processes are comprehensively planned and simple; Eliminate waste; Allocate resources to opportunities with the highest returns, and ensure plans are consistent with business targets.
Forecasting & Performance Management :
Take ownership of forecasting cycles. Optimize data, analytics, process, and tools to drive understanding of value drivers and tracking of KPIs. Drive forecast accuracy and proactively provide insight and advices to facilitate fast decision making and corrective actions in order to capture opportunities and mitigate risks and optimize business results.
Management information and reporting:
Manage reporting processes and deliverables and ad hoc requests to meet corporate / Franchise / Functional requirement in a timely manner. Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and systems and optimize the Finance network and business partnership for effectiveness and efficiency.
Initiatives and Projects:
Support FP&A Director and partner with the business and functional teams in projects and strategic initiatives such as new business models, M&A, system implementation, new capabilities, etc..
Ensure awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
Support the FP&A Director in Finance 2020 initiatives, driving simplification and development of mindset and capabilities critical to success in the digital era; Take ownership in building a learning and inclusive culture to enable the transformation . Support training and development for the regional team.
Qualifications & Experience
-At least 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A and business partnership
-Proven resilience with an ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
-Proven experience in simplifying reporting and analytical purposes, in leading cross functional or regional projects
-Advanced financial modeling capabilities, experienced in Hyperion Enterprise and/or HFM, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, SAP and Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau.
-Proactive, action and solution oriented
-A team player with strong communication skills and inclusive behaviors.
