Job Title:              Principal Technical Professional – Technical Services

Job Location:       3000 North Sam Houston Parkway East, Houston, TX 77032

Duties:            Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports. Confer with engineers or other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information. Investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions. Provide feedback to design engineers on customer problems or needs. Provide technical customer service. Establish or coordinate the maintenance or safety procedures, service schedule, or supply of materials required to maintain machines or equipment in the prescribed condition. Provide Technology with field data. Lead field testing and deployment of new technology. Participate as a member of the global strike team to address immediate operational issues. Resolve field operational issues. Continuously monitor and participate in the internal knowledge management portal. Capture, review and document global best practices. Lead field tests to a successful conclusion. Collaborate with other team members on a wide variety of product line support issues. On a monthly basis: provide regional oversight for data integrity; analyze global data for trends and patterns; develop and implement continuous improvement plans for operations; and, develop and implement continuous improvement plans for equipment maintenance.

Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining and Geological Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering, and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years related experience with Pipe Recovery, Water shutoff, Perforating, Production logging and Geothermal steam well logging. Must have 2 years of experience with the following:

  1. Collaborating with customers regarding the planning of the delivery of the service and providing technical presentations;
  2. Documenting technical information and providing technical support during the planning and execution of critical customer wells; and
  3. Performing task analysis, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
